Just spent a wonderful week in Burgundy France creating new porcelain ceramic vessels and experimenting with naked rake firings. My teacher Ursula and her husband Lorenz have designed and styled their amazing Chateau set on the outskirts of Macon. An ideal location and atmosphere . We were spoilt with delicious food cooked by their talented son, Xavier who trained and got his masters at the famous Paul Bocuse school in Lyon. The studio and setting is perfect for my future residency. Here a few snapshots.
